William has over 20 years of extensive experience in the tax and accounting field. In 2003, he founded Sterling Accounting and Tax Services to provide bookkeeping, tax services, and business education to local small businesses and individuals. He recognized the need for more personalized attention to address their accounting and tax preparation needs.
Since its founding, Sterling Accounting has served small to medium-sized businesses and individuals across all income levels. William is committed to providing the same level of attention and care to every client, regardless of size. The firm offers accounting, tax planning and preparation, and other financial services tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Under William’s leadership, the firm remains well-informed and adaptable in the ever-evolving landscape of tax law and accounting.

MYCHAL STERLING, MBA
Staff Accountant & Operations Officer
BIO
Mychal joined the firm in May 2014 and currently serves as a Staff Accountant and Operations Officer. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s University and an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management. Mychal brings years of experience in tax preparation, accounting services, budgeting, and small business administration. His honesty, integrity, and professionalism are qualities that our clients greatly value.
As Operations Manager, Mychal ensures the firm operates efficiently and effectively. We take pride in building trusted relationships with our clients and understand the importance of timely, thorough communication. A well-managed, professional office is essential to both our success and yours.
